Coni Leal: Association Account Specialist – 7 months with AATC!
Coni is the person you would get in touch with for any member account inquiries, help on finding a specific service, how to get on mailing list, want to join or ask about committee information, need to get more involved with volunteering, or just have any question at all. Her job is to help every member get the most out of their benefits, find new members for us to utilize, and to be out in the communities getting to know everyone and expanding our reach. She loves to be involved in as much as possible and enjoys networking with many different types of people – so if you want her to attend some events with you… reach out to her! Coni likes to live her personal and professional life by utilizing her servants’ heart to constantly be helping others with anything they need. She is one of those people that has never met a stranger and stays busy outside of work with community service, friends, family, and AATC events!
Coni was born and raised in the small town of Iowa Park, Texas and has lived in DFW for the last seventeen years. Coni and her husband Michael recently bought a home in Bedford to settle into with their youngest child, Akela (12) and her rottweiler Lelu. They have two older children, Elyssa (22) is a nurse in Oklahoma and Logan (19) is currently in lineman school since graduating high school last year. With Hispanic and Hawaiian roots in their very large family, most of their free time is spent traveling to spend time with their twelve nieces and nephews or you will find them at the softball fields with their youngest child that Michael coaches.
Coni got her start in the multifamily industry on the referral of her best friend that was a community assistant manager at the time. Starting as a leasing agent in 2009 and working her way up to management by 2011, she worked as a property manager in the Arlington and Fort Worth areas for eight years. After being a stay at home mom through the pandemic, she came back into the industry by making the move into the supplier world as a project manager – later moving into a training / staff development role and then a human resources manager before going back onsite for a transitional manager role. Being involved with AATC through all these transitions, consistently landing better jobs and making so many new friends and connections, Coni eventually landed her dream job at AATC. Her new career path enables her to mingle with all her friends while being involved in the community and helping others to improve their work life balances, all while bettering their own career paths and businesses!
