June CEO Update

Summer is Upon Us.

Summer is almost here, and it has undoubtedly been a busy spring! However, as a regular part of our business cycle, events slow down a little during the summer months. Kids are out of school, families plan vacations, and the weather limits outdoor events. Don't let the momentary silence fool you, though; the internal hustle and bustle of AATC will continue behind the scenes for two primary reasons.

First, we will prepare for our busy fall season, starting with Business Exchange in August, presented by Perma Pier Foundation Repair of Texas. This popular "reverse trade show" has been a hit for many years, and the concept, which originated right here at AATC, is now a standard goto event for apartment associations throughout the country. 

Next comes our newest event, the AATC Pickleball tournament, presented by Texas Southwest Floors, at the Chicken and Pickle in Grapevine on September 12. Pickleball is quickly becoming one of the more popular activities in the nation, and we are beyond excited to try this fun event with our members. Then, in October, we have two flagship events, our Education Conference and Trade Show, both will take place at the Fort Worth Convention Center. These events are always very popular and well-attended, and we encourage you to experience them for yourself. Second, we will use the summer months to work on our plans for 2024. Building off the things that worked well this year, we'll look at some new and creative ideas to try in 2024. As always, we are open to any suggestions from our members. After all, we are here to serve you.
