Member Services

Our Apartment Association was born in Aug 1967 out of the collective interests of a small but visionary group of multi-housing owners and managers. The association now covers nine counties and supports over 250,000 rental units in the multifamily industry. During the past half-century, our association has been providing management and related services supporting employees, residents, and small business owners in the Fort Worth area. We have become known throughout the state and across the nation as an industry leader providing exceptional professional education curricula, effective advocacy initiatives, concise communications mediums, and unique business networking opportunities designed to support and encourage our members. Our vision for the future is quite simple — inspire the marketplace we represent.

FWAA is YOUR trade association – designed to inspire by providing award-winning professional education programs, exemplary public advocacy initiatives, effective communication mediums and a diverse network of forums for business-to-business exchanges. Quite simply, we’re here to help you be more successful!

We are where it started: PAC (political action committee), Business Exchange, Leadership Lyceum, and Maintenance Mania judging software all started here with us. Since 1967 we have been supporting the multifamily industry, its investors and colleagues, the owners and staffs and loving every minute of it!

Why join as a SUPPLIER PARTNER?
Several property owners and onsite staff will only work with FWAA members – from turnkey services to major construction or restoration. Being a member as a supplier gives you direct access to these owners/managers and the accreditation of being a valued partner with us. When you really participate with your association you can increase profits and meet other clients, expanding your business through the state and nation with the connections you make in our association.

Why join as an OWNER / MANAGER/Independent rental owner (IRO)?
To legally use the state level legal forms from applications to leases and eviction forms, you are required to be a member of your local association. As an added benefit you get access to Texas Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, Redbook & Blue Moon forms, discounted education classes, credential designations, private event invites, and so much more!
