AATC  Member Benefits

If your business is multihousing, whether its primarily property management or perhaps the important products and services side of the industry, the Apartment Association of Tarrant County has your success in mind.

We have become this nation’s 4th largest rental housing trade association, completely focused on the well-being of our members. So, what’s in it for you? Well, here’s just a sample of the return you can have on your investment in AATC …

Industry Advocacy
The Apartment Association of Tarrant County represents your best interests when it comes to the laws and regulations imposed on the multihousing industry by government. We work closely with the National Apartment Association and the National Multihousing Association to improve the federal business environment. We work hand-in-hand with the Texas Apartment Association to help influence state regulatory initiatives that have a direct impact on your NOI. And, we work daily with local government leaders to establish and maintain a fair and equitable business marketplace, initiatives that save your business time and money each and every day. Visit our legislative section.

Professional Education
The Apartment Association is a national award-winning provider of business education curricula. Not only does AATC host NAA's benchmark designate programs focused on training leasing, management and maintenance professionals, but we also deliver the most up-to-date industry practices and trends in a concise, easy to digest and implement, format called PEP. Our Professional Education program is an affordable way to expose your management team to the very best ideas in the marketplace.

Networking Opportunities
AATC provides our members with ample opportunities to meet one-on-one and do business with one another. In fact, our prevailing theme can best be described as Doing Business With Our Friends. Success in the world of multihousing is all about relationships. Not even the best product, service or rental-housing product can survive the ebbs and flows of a trendy national economy without strong business relationships. See our online calendar for upcoming events.

Business Development
Our annual trade show, with nearly 2,000 in attendance, and The Business Exchange, a unique reverse trade show format, are just 2 examples of programs that provide our members with face-to-face marketing opportunities. In addition, we publish a high-quality professional magazine each month, as well as the annual Metroplex Membership Directory and Buyers Guide, the largest single regional listing of multihousing businesses in the nation. And, if that’s not enough, we sell the acclaimed TAA Lease forms, the most highly respected multihousing lease contract in the nation.

Committee Activities
The Apartment Association of Tarrant County has 9 committees, each focused on a specific business agenda. Our committees are a collection of business volunteers that meet regularly to conduct the business affairs of the Association.

Association Leadership
The Apartment Association is a partnership of local industry leaders, plus a professional association staff. We annually elect 9 officers and 16 directors, business leaders who oversee the Association’s business agenda. Along with our high-energy committee chairs, AATC's leadership team is without equal.
