What is hd-CD?
We do get that question a lot. In 2006, the AATC Education committee sat down and really thought about the vision we wanted for the future. So many companies have “Training” We thought, what can we offer to our members to add value to their membership?
We decided that we not only wanted to continue to educate, we want to help develop careers. In the days of technology, let’s make this change in “High Definition” So in 2007, AATC recognized this change in priorities and expanded our traditional and popular, award-winning training program: Professional Education Program (P.E.P.) to focus on careers and career paths for employees. We called it Career Development in High Definition (hd-CD). What a successful year we had!
Watch for more offerings in basic classes along with series focused on adding value to your life and career. In the Spring of 2008 we had a book series “The Starbucks Experience” Where we touched on the 5 principles that give practical, proven ideas and strategies to achieving and sustaining success by creating your own customer experience.
The Career Development Committee is hard at work preparing the fall semester, you will not want to miss what we have in store for you leaders.
